1 Grade 12 is the current Required Minimum Stipend Grade. Grades below 12 (i.e., 9, 10, and 11), Grade 27, and Quarter-Time and Three-Quarter Time appointments may only be used with prior approval of the J. Jeffrey and Ann Marie Fox Graduate School, Office Graduate Fellowships and Awards Administration. The Variable Rate and 1/4 and 3/4 Time Assistantship Request Form must be completed before appointing any graduate students to half-time assistantships at stipend grades 9,10, 11, and 27 or to quarter-or three-quarter-time assistantships at any grade (9-27).
(a) Stipend amount greater than that shown for Grade 26. Amount must be divisible by 45 to the nearest quarter.
(b) Stipend amount greater than that shown for Grade 26. Amount must be divisible by 6 to the nearest quarter.
* Fall Semester Graduate Assistants will be paid five monthly payments from August through December. Spring Semester Graduate Assistants will be paid five monthly payments from January through May.
** Summer Session Graduate Assistants will be paid one-half of their summer stipend on the last pay date in June and one-half on last pay date in July.
